Keeping my emotions in check will help me to think clearly and guide constructive communication; trying to dominate the resolution process will only frustrate the opposition. I will constructively listen to the thoughts and ideas of others and consider them honestly instead of trying to have my own way all of the time. My goal is to defeat my attitude of being a perfectionist. The key is being able to allow myself to make and except the mistakes of others. I do not have to be the best at everything.
You probably will not answer all these questions, and the paper should not be a string of answers. You will formulate a thesis that responds to one or two or even several of these questions. If we would have stick to only one writer or source we would have only learn one side of the presented issue and taking into consideration our naive nature some would most likely believe that the author is right. Those are people who follow others and never question authority and are perfectly content in their comfort zone. Why bother to change things when everything is going well, one might ask. However, some people when they come across ideas that they do not agree with try to fight for their rights and let their voices to be heard. Some people challenge societies’ beliefs but those are few.
I know there are times when things are so small that it seems they would not make a difference if listed or not or you may forget something small and not deem it necessary to do an amended return. It is not truly clear what the information is that I feel needed to be listed but if I feel it should be there then there is a good reason. Therefore, I feel that the client would have to agree to list the information before I could sign off on any paperwork and put my personal or professional integrity in question. Explain. It reminds me that even in the most extreme situations people are going to do what they are wired to do. If they are kind, they will be kind. If they are selfish, they will be selfish. I have little if any power to create in others what I would want to see there.
A counselor can be honest and disclose parts of her life that can be beneficial to the client, should be used only in discretion, and should never confess or vent her own feelings to the client; this would not be therapeutic to the client and may cause more problems. Warmth is a deep process, to allow the client to be one with the counselor, and emotional bond when the client is feeling lost and alone. Just knowing that someone cares how they feel and what they feel. A smile or a touch with another human being is very strong therapy for the client. Immediacy, I would say is best described as being totally involved with the client getting to know the client as himself, and how he is feeling at the moment, instead of reliving the past.
It is very upsetting sometimes when people stereotype the way that they do. I personally think that we all rare equal and should be treated as such. I cannot change my past. I am who I am and there has to be reason for this and I am not going to
Dreams are what keep us moving forward. They inspire us to do better than what we have done so far. But the thing with dreams is that sometimes we can’t reach them. Sometimes we dream too big, to the point where we could never achieve them in the ways we wish we could. And in the end, they leave us crushed.
I am here because I wanted and still do want the people to have justice, I want the people to know. If I could go back and do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a single thing I did. I wouldn’t change a thing because there is nothing to change when one is doing something on the behalf of the public. Many might call me a traitor, others a hero, but titles do not matter. I know what I did, I know why I did it, and I do not half to explain my actions to anyone who challenge them.
