There are many breathtaking sites and attractions in the world today. Some have been around a very long time, such as Stonehenge, while others are more recent, such as the Sydney Opera House. Either way, they deserve to be recognized as the “7 Wonders of the World.” Not all wonders can be chosen, but I picked the ones that I think deserve to be noted as the best. The Colosseum, in Rome, Italy, is truly breathtaking. It began being built in 72 A.D. under Emperor Vespasian and was completed in 80 A.D. under his son Titus.
