“Young people are the most dangerous drivers on the road, so they should not be given a driver’s license until the age of twenty-one (21).” What is your opinion? Driving license age limit should be raised to 21? Well, this is a source of much concern; the percentage high of teenage accident on our streets is on a constant rise. Whether caused by the lack of experience, the fact of immaturity, distractions has become all too common among teen motorists. This problem is not going to go away by itself; action needs to be taken. I argue that the age requirement to receive a license must be raise to twenty-one (21) years old because teens are not mature enough to handle the dangerous responsibilities of driving. They allow teens to get their licenses at an earlier age and little driving experience typically is required before licenses are issued. According to The Department of Road Traffic statistics have shown that 16 year olds have the highest percentage of crashes-involving speeding, the highest percentage of single vehicle crashes and the highest percentage of reckless drivers on the road. Another argue is that at the age of twenty-one (21) teenagers still should be issue a driver’s license do to the fact of immaturity. Teenage drivers are very impatient and childish. They would constantly switch driving lanes, race other drivers, and speed up to 100 mph trying to beat a red light. If your teenage drivers are immature they are more likely to act recklessly behind the wheel and cause bad car crashes on our street. I also feel that soon as teenagers sit behind the wheel, they tend to get distracted by the lease things. In addition, drivers under the age of 18 distract themselves while driving with various activities, such as messaging, watching videos, and even reading books.
