The increased awareness of the effects of sexuality in early ages such as pregnancy and STD’s are more prevalent than in yester years. However, the increased stimuli of sexuality leads to more exploration of our younger generations to have sex earlier than they should be and producing babies at a younger age as well as they are contracting more STD’s. I think the media’s influence on our future generations needs to be tempered and that is the job of the parent or caregiver. I feel that if the caregiver or the parent has a better grip on what their children are watching on TV , you would find out that the sex would happened a lot less. It would not cure the issue at hand but it might help in the long run.
Pornography is very sensitive issue which has recently become very popular especially among liberal, conservatives and even feminist movements. What does the word pornography really means? According to West’s Encyclopedia of American Law (2005), it means that pornography is a sexually explicit material and intended primarily for the purpose of sexual arousal. Although pornography is harmless, educates viewers on techniques for having a sexual relationship, and helps to bring profits in businesses, it also should be restricted by law due to certain adverse effects for the individuals in society. Pornography helps us to free ourselves from the abstinent attitudes about sex that have long dominated our society.
I do know that girls nowadays are more educated about sex, than when I was young, however I do not know if they have a clear understanding of the body changes, hormonal changes and the sexual urges that they are experiencing at this stage in life and how to handle them. So for Anna, I would first try to get her to feel comfortable about talking to me. If she is on the lower level of age, I would like to explain the hormonal changes and the urges to be sexual to her. So, then we would talk of her interest and her goals and what her passion in life is all about and then move around to her boyfriend. I would definitely talk to her about his age and the fact that he is three years older than she and try to explain her mother’s anxieties.
Surveys could be a good thing with the questionnaires and interviews if all the people were honest during the survey, or people could have been dishonest and didn’t want to reveal the truth maybe because they feel ashamed for masturbating at a young age or being sexually active before marriage. The advantages for Kinsey’s survey research method are people were more open to talk about sex and if Kinsey interviewed other ethnicities, he would have had different results. Due to media, peer pressure, and curiosity many teens and pre-teens are starting to willingly have sex at a younger age. Also, with maturity and physical looks a minor can no longer be pointed out by their appearance. The age of consent and statutory rape age range should be widened because younger minors and young adults will have sex regardless but giving someone a felony or misdemeanor and registering as a sex offender for consensual sex is unconstitutional. I think the age range should be from age 11 to 21 because age 11 has become the new age many minors are starting

When we think of sex our inner child does everything to not giggle like a little school girl or boy, but when broken down into a science it would seem like we would lose some of the innocence in the act, when really all it does is answer some of the questions that needed to be asked: Why is it that men seem so much easier to please? And also why is it women seem to be involved into the act mentally as they are physically? This is not to say the one takes the feelings more than the other, but between men and women the similarities match the differences with the same results: Contractions, High Blood pressure, and rapid breathing. Scientist whose names are Masters and Johnson were able to break down our physical responses to the bodies’ sexual reactions and gave it a name, “The Sexual Response Cycle.” Now these scientist or psychologists were able to break down the bodies’ Sexual response cycle into four different stages: Excitement, Plateau, Orgasm, and finally Resolution phase.

Seeing these popular movies, television and teen icons influences us to think that it is cool to be pregnant at a young age. The media is influencing us too much, we follow whatever the "trend" is and we don't think for ourselves. Casual naked people dancing around, thin and built models, and teen pregnancy is subconsciously affecting us to think all of this is okay.
More and more teens are becoming pregnant when living the “party life.” It increases the chances of forgetting to use protection during intercourse. This can lead to unwanted pregnancy and an increase of abortion rates or unwanted pregnancies. It is a sad life for kids who are born into a world and left to a foster home or an adoption agency. There are many teens that just simply can’t afford to keep their child, so they just put them up for adoption. Adoption is not a bad thing, but there are plenty of kids in the world already, and we don’t need teens producing more.
