Bad luck, can be defined as an inescapable and often conflicting results; destiny. Romeo and Juliet were ultimately the ones responsible for their own deaths looking from a destined point of view. On the other hand, the death of the two are partly caused by bad management. The fact that Romeo and Juliet got married knowing that there was a bitter feud between their two families. This feud brought problems along with it, such as the killing of Tybalt by Romeo.
After completing this it will be evident that Romeo, Friar Lawrence and love are all to blame. Firstly, Romeo is banished from Verona for killing Tybalt, a Capulet, because Tybalt killed Romeo’s best friend Mercutio. This led to Romeo not hearing about the plan to fake Juliet’s death so that she did not have to marry Paris. When Romeo heard she was dead he killed himself, then Juliet awoke and found Romeo dead and killed herself. “Tybalt is gone, and Romeo banished; Romeo that killed him, he is banished.” This quote is saying that Romeo killed Tybalt and is now banished because of it.
The moment Romeo and Juliet meets is the exact incident that leads them to their death. As it mentions in the prologue, “A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life (line 6)” This line already mentions that Romeo and Juliet will end up dying. It tells us that it is them who take their own life. Later on in the play, these lovers did have many struggles and many things were not in their favor. To start off, it wasn’t merely a coincidence that Romeo and Juliet met.
Falling action - The action begins to fall after Juliet commits suicide after finding Romeo dead. It continues as both families find their children dead. Fate is the prominent reason for the death of both Romeo and Juliet. In the prologue, they are illustrated as “A pair of star-crossed lovers” and later on their love is described as “death mark’d”. Right in the beginning, Shakespeare demonstrates that fate will bring them together, but it will also be the cause of their death. The play could have had a very different conclusion if some circumstances had been different. Perhaps the biggest determining factor of Romeo and Juliet’s demise was the fact that their families were feuding.

Romeo and Juliet, sometimes referred to as the most tragic love story of all, is a story of young love between two people in families engaged in a deadly feud. The families fight in public at the start of the play, resulting in a death penalty from prince Escales if the peace of Verona is disturbed again. Meanwhile, Romeo, the son of Lord Montague, gatecrashes a masquerade ball hosted by Lord Capulet in honour for a potential marriage between his daughter Juliet and a wealthy man named ‘Paris’.
Tybalt coveted to extrude Romeo out from the reception except Lord Capulet tolerated Romeo because of his umpteen lauds. During the courtship party Tybalt recognized Romeo, “by his voice, [and that he was] a Montague [... their] foe; A villain, that [was] hither come in spite [...] content thee, gentle coz, [leave] him alone. ‘A bears him like a portly gentleman [...] he shall be endured” (I.5.59-84). Romeo would never have been able to meet Juliet if Lord Capulet had let Tybalt eject him from their gathering. Lord Capulet essentially endorsed Juliet’s relationship with Romeo without even knowing it.
In the movie, you will see a scene with Romeo and Juliet enjoying their love together, but then immediately flash to fights between the two families. The anger between the two families is what forces the two lovers to keep their relationship a secret and later leads to the ultimate act of love – death for one another. Romeo and Juliet’s determination to continue their love for each other is inspiring and tells of great honor from the both of them. While pursuing their love, Romeo and Juliet stumble upon many hardships that attempt to deteriorate their love. First, the fact that Juliet is a Capulet and Romeo is a Montague instantly forbids their love and creates the first of many obstacles for the teenage lovers.
