Thesis Statement: President Barack Obama is not the best choice for President of the United States due to the fact he is pro war, he does not put the American people’s needs first, and he is a liar. The president of the United States, What comes to your mind when you picture the person that is running our country? I picture an honest, person, with honor and integrity, compassion and a firm hand in giving the American People the best he can. The President should be doing things to better American people and America itself for that matter. I do believe that the current President, Barack H. Obama, is not the best choice for the American people.
Was the League of Nations a failure? The League of Nations is thought to be a failure by many, because of hard irony and limitation on military might. The League accomplished very little in stopping wars and conflicts while having very little power. Often they just shook fists at ruthless, evil dictators such as Germany’s Adolf Hitler and his conquests, without intervening. Another Major flaw was that “the country, whose president, Woodrow Wilson, had dreamt up the idea of the League - America -, refused to join it.” The league’s most powerful militaries Britain and France not only suffered casualties, but also economically as they were greatly in debt to the United States.
The government, just like the wealthy and rich, was so power hungry that they disregarded the people’s kind acts and defaced them as if they were animals. The people come first in society. Unlike back then, today is a whole different story. The president of the United States would not try to rip off the American people or disregard them in any way because of the fact that it was completely unconstitutional. The Obama Administration tried its best to benefit the people and help them in ways that were never thought possible.

Criticizing Bill Clinton Speech Essay “If a President of the United States ever lied to the American people he should resign” William J. Clinton,1974 Introduction: Critics should pay a very special attention to the Bill Clinton apology speech. The speech of the ex-president Bill Clinton was a bright example of how perfect rhetoric techniques might fail to deliver the message of a president to a mass audience if it goes about his morality. In his speech, Clinton, actually confesses he had a private relationship with Monica Lewinsky. It is a rule that such a confession and especially from a person of the highest position in the society means the end of the career. It took William Jefferson Clinton seven month to realize that people need apologies not for the deed, but for the lies.
Rome proved to be a regime that stayed on top of the weaker states below it but was eventually ruined by a combination of inside decline from the volume of inescapable tasks to run a world empire and outside attack from those who didn't approve. Therefore, America should not aspire to be the Global super power because of the vast unpopularity towards such a world and the damage such power could cause to the state of America. Firstly, leaders in most of the countries of the world favor a world with many powers cooperating to deal with international issues, and greatly contest a world dominated by one country. In fact, two-thirds of the world see American domination as a threat to their ways of life. Asia, Europe, and the Middle East to name a few, regularly protest that America is too arrogant when talk of the USA is brought up.
“Free” health care would not actually be free, however, since the funds to pay for it will need to come from somewhere. President Obama’s current health care proposal, contrary to its stated goals, will not remedy our national problem of rising costs for health care. Instead, placing millions of Americans on a public
An example of a current event or issue where the multiple levels of government interact on a solution would be The Patient Protection and Affordable Act Care which hereinafter will be referred to as ObamaCare. The government worked against each other on this issue in many ways. One way is that the house of republicans shut down the Government by refusing to pass the budget unless it contained measures to defund and repeal aspects of the Affordable Care Act. Also opponents of the law say that ObamaCare is an unpopular program that hurts Americans. The same was said about Medicare when it was implemented.
For Obama to be a Machiavellian prince he does not only need power, but it depends on how it’s used through military matters. It is considerable to consider Obama a prince because he focuses on cutting government spending on the military. Also, he deals with being blamed on how a prince should keep his word. – This last sentence does not blend with the paragraph- The opposition claims that he won the presidency not by good fortune and not through his own truthful words. They say he turned the key to “weak masters” and begged to foreign directors.
We see this now when a politician will amend his opponent, even though he has devastated him just previously, this is ethos. “Who is here so vile that will not love his country?” he asks. Who would say no? When our politicians began passing legislation after 9/11, a repeated strategy was to say that anyone who questioned the legislation was not patriotic, which is very similar to Brutus’s tactics, this is logos. This is how and why I believe Brutus delivered the more effective speech.
