I fell like this is the perfect job for me. There are so many different branches and I love the occupation as a whole. Figuring out that becoming a Physical Therapist was one of the best ideas that I came across. There are just so many opportunities that are available. There are also so many different fields to go into the opportunities are endless.
Physical Therapy appears to be a very rewarding career that allows you to be one on one with your patients and be a part of their overall progression. Having the chance to be the defining factor that can change someone’s life is a great honor in my eyes and I am more than excited to start my
These activities further encouraged my interest of being involved in the healthcare field. Therefore, I did a month long internship shadowing the physical therapist that rehabilitated my knee injury and then later shadowed a chiropractor. Once I got to college, I started to contemplate what I really wanted to do with Athletic Training. This is when I read an article online that really caught my attention about some of the advances being made with prosthetics. I began to do additional research and became more and more fascinated by the idea of working with amputees.
As a Boy Scout I recited in every meeting “The Scout’s Oath”; which states, “…to help other people at all times” (Boy Scouts of America Website). I believe this value became part of me in my early childhood. Soon after graduating from high school, when it came time to choose a career path, I chose public service and became an Emergency Medical Technician. Eventually, I upgraded career my training and became certified as a Paramedic. I have enjoyed a twenty-four year career of public service.
Successfully full learning these skills will help you in the world of radiology technology . The radiology technician is one that pays quite well . The radiology technician salary is also one that allows an individual to live comfortably . For example , the salary of radiology technician is quite high such as Health Care : $18.37- $25.30 , Hospital : $18.54 - $25.58 , Medical services : $18.47 - $25.56 , etc. But safety and general technical is quite important in this field, so it is recommended that you take the profession seriously and get a decent educational background and get certificate and licensed.
Working with you was a great learning experience for me. I really value the knowledge and insight you have, and your willingness to share it with me. I credit you for the success of this project as well as for my own professional growth. I thank you for that.. You have truly inspired me to work with sincerity and dedication. I am looking forward to implementing all of your valuable suggestions.
Also, there was an equal amount of recommended jobs in education, such as chemistry teachers, biological science teachers, anthropology teachers, economics teachers, special education teachers, secondary school teachers, and educational, vocational, and school counselors. The job that most appealed to me out of the recommended options from my survey was the physical therapist career. Out of the options, this one is most like the one that I would like my career to be, which is to be a sports medicine doctor. Even though the option of becoming a sports medicine doctor did not come up from the options that I chose, I think that it would still apply because it fits each of the categories. For social, I would be working with people and helping and curing their injuries, for investigative, I would be finding what exactly the problem and the cause of it is, and what the solution would be, and for realistic, it is a very hands-on job that would require me to use machines to help heal my patients.
My goal would be to work with high school athletes anywhere up to professional athletes. The person I interviewed was Norm Paquin, who was the sports trainer at my high school and also worked as a physical therapist at Jordan Hospital. He received his Bachelors degree from Northeastern in the field of Sports Medicine. He returned to school this year to receive his Masters at the University of Southern Maine. The starting salary for a full time physical therapist averages about $755 weekly.
However, it was not until after the second surgery and the second cycle of physical therapy that I realized the benefit and importance of physical therapy on my life. Today, after two surgeries, I am able to participate in almost all of the activities that I love due to the success of rehabilitation exercises. I believe it was my positive experience with physical therapy that led to my interest and passion for physical therapy as a career. And so my educational goals and career goals center around the health sciences, working hard to earn my undergraduate degree in kinesiology with a pre-professional track and hoping eventually to apply, matriculate, and earn my graduate degree in physical therapy. I hope my educational and career goals also satisfy my personal goals of becoming a successful individual with strong morals and goals, hoping to work with people and work in the field that helped me.
Martial arts provide people with physical, psychological, and self-defense benefits. Out of all of the available ways to workout in this world, martial arts are among the most powerful (“Spice Up Your Workout”). This type of training is an activity that helps create integrity of the body. Over an extended amount of time, people will realize they have great coordination, agility, and balance. In traditional American sports, participants do a lot of “warming the bench”, in other words, they get a lot of down-time (“Martial Arts Benefits”).
