Every time when people peek at the world map, they can hardly see a little red dot named Singapore among many larger countries, like Malaysia and Indonesia. However, Singapore is never limited to its geographical boundaries. It has become one of the most renowned tourist attractions across the world. So what makes Singapore stand out among all the other neighbor countries? Singapore’s cultural diversity is unique and special in Asia. As we all know, Singapore is an immigrant country, which mostly consists of people from other neighboring countries such as China, Malaysia, Indonesia and so on. Different cultures are together brought to Singapore during immigration. Because everyone of them lives in the same society, it is inevitable for different cultures to mix and as a result, a unique Singaporean culture is formed, consisting of various aspects of different cultures. Normally, when we are on the bus, we can see many parks with plenty of trees around the road. This can be substantiated by the high green space ratio in Singapore, which was almost 70%. Besides, Singapore also has cleaner air with average PSI less than 50. Because of all these statistics, Singapore is known as the ‘garden city’ in the world. Besides, the building of new gardens is never stopped in Singapore. For instance, the newly-built gardens by the bay contains more than 2000 different type of plants, ranging from rain forest plant to mountain plants. A clean and tidy society is for people to live in. Almost all of tourist who have come to Singapore always mention the cleanness of this city.
