Socially responsible effort is the effort individuals and institutions use to develop ethical strategies that improve environmental, social, and economic conditions around them. Social responsibility initiatives are generally a reflection of their ethical stance and are important ways of showing sensitivity to issues that affect others. Through a community profile of the virtual Kelsey community, this paper will highlight how groups within society demonstrate socially responsible behaviors. The city of Kelsey is an urban-suburban community with population of 600,000 citizens. Staying true to this mission, city officials have provided a Planetarium, a safe rail system that runs parallel to the river and a host of park and recreational areas that stimulate commerce and encourage outdoor activities within the community. Since Kelsey is no longer agriculturally based, Baderman Island serves as an all-inclusive resort that showcases the beauty of the city year round and sustains the local economy. Kelsey has also modernized the border to the river into a well-developed downtown area that invites shopping and provides entertainment until 2 a.m. so that the city maintains its peaceful environment between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. Kelsey council has also developed an aquifer to supply the municipal water source and that also draws water from Lake Lora.
