When I Wake Up and Found in a Strange Place

It was evening. The cold sun was setting on the horizon. Here there were no difficulties that faced me. I was calm. I was relaxed. The sandy beach that stretched out for miles was the place I wanted to be. There was no one else around at the time. I could hear the birds chirping every now and then which made me feel like I was Mother Nature, tending to my children. Sometimes, I'd see a seagull land on the beach. It was the perfect place to be. The air was fresh and the breeze would hit my face. I reached down to take some sand from the ground. It ran through my fingers like the sands of time. I took a walk across the beach, admiring the view of the sunset from one way. When I turned around, I saw what looked like a small peaceful village. This place was not like the city I was from. The locals were quiet and friendly. The sounds of the waves weren't drowned out by the vroom of cars or trucks. I walked down to the sea and took some water in my hands. I didn't have to worry about the water here, so I drank some of it. The water tasted clean and refreshing. I carried on walking down the long stretch of beach, leaving everything behind me. Seagulls would fly by; I'd watch them fight with each other over food or other silly things. There were no loud or irritating noises, everything was calm, like the 'mute' button had been pressed on a remote that was dedicated to me. But after what seemed hours of walking, the beach started to end. The sand had started to feature large stones, which gave a horrible felling to my feet. The village had grown. The buildings towered above me like it was New York City. I looked back at the sea. Oh no! The plush blue water was replaced with dark brown fields. It smelled really bad. The sounds of the waves crashing against the shore were drowned out by the sound of cars, trains and crowds of people. Everything was changing around me.
