Water as one of the most valuable resources of our planet and for us to obtain fresh water source without contamination is complex in many ways. Filtering technologies has always been expensive and ignored by worldwide scientists. In many developing countries being able to receive clean and sanitized water would be a factor in surviving or not. Without further development in more inexpensive filtering technology, third world countries would continue to suffer from constant diarrhea and possibly facing death. Children are often the easiest target due to their low immune system and after drinking contaminated water; their main concern would be survival. Water sanitation plants for communities in areas such as Africa and Latin America are not affordable and often takes too much material and man power to process. Charitable non profit organizations are often the leading factor to show those who are from the first world countries the facts and details of what people in third world countries are suffering from and providing food and water. Yet the only safest and most inexpensive way to provide water is by providing plastic bottled water which is inefficient because it can only be a temporary aid for relief. Foreign aid is always the same tradition of providing packaged food and water where as no further development in the country are made to provide better necessities. She explains the four main groups classified by the author is the importance of the whole water sanitation issues in order to address them.
