Angus Morrissey – Past Experiences/Player Resume Profile: Age: 12 Team: Northern Tigers Position: Winger Foot: Right Foot Strengths: 1 v 1, finishing, speed, strength and first touch Club Football: I started off at West Pymble in Under 6’s and played right through to Under 12s. West Pymble Football Club provided me with very good coaching which was essential in my development as a footballer. It wasn’t until Under 12s until I really knew my potential as a footballer. My coach that year was a guy called Greg Fuchs. Greg was a former Australian Schoolboy player who played in the same team as the likes of Liverpool star Harry Kewell and Luke Wilkshire who both played for Australia. I trialled for Northern Tigers and in the first trial I was signed. I have scored 12 goals in 22 matches for my new club (including trial matches) and consider this my breakthrough season as I have shown the potential I never knew I had. My coach Jason Eager, who is also First Grade Coach of the club, has shown belief in my own personal ability and has moved me to the right/left wing in our 4-3-3 formation. Jason has said that he would bet on me beating any defender 1 v 1 and that I am one of the best wingers in the league. This feedback has informed me that I am progressing well as a footballer. School Football In one year of my school football my team reached the final but last year in Year 6 I was chosen by my school to represent them in the Ku-Ring Gai PSSA Football Trials. I successfully trialled for the Ku-Ring Gai team and successfully won selection in the next stage, the Ku-Ring Gai Hornsby Combined Districts Team.
