The threat of terrorist attacks changed American culture immensely; the devastation wakened the need for protection and a sense of security. Dramatic measures were taken in order to protect this country, so foreign relations were severely affected. Post 9/11 government saw the “link between immigration and security”, and that by changing foreign policy it would “reduce the likelihood of future attacks” (Krikorian 567).The safety measure in airports were countless from metal detectors to full body scans. “The immigration system has being penetrated by the enemy”, the officials realized which led to unfair accusation of innocents (Krikorian 568). “Overzealous officials” grill suspicious foreigners “to the point of near panic” (Khan 559).
Numerous controversial ideas have played profound stepping stones in societies climb to try and create the perfect society. The vision of a perfect world through self sacrifice was exploited by the government in the novels 1984, by George Orwell and Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury. These books portray the atmosphere of that perfect world through government control. In each novel a single character is outcaste because of his refusal to conform. This refusal leads the characters to an ultimate conflict with an individual closely related to the government.

In the World State, the government controls the economy. The United States, however, holds a capitalistic economy. Although the government has some say in the American economy, it is different from that in the World State because primarily citizens and private companies control the U.S. economy.

The overwhelming response by the public for the emerging Sony could have made their rivals to plan for a security breach by identifying the minuscule deadlocks in the Sony security system. Also, this was scheduled to be very close to the launch of “Sony Tablet” so that the launch could be delayed which would result in heavy loss. This massive security breach has led to the brand name of Sony being criticized by the public. Though the press release given by Sony is quite satisfactory, many users still continue to urge for the proper reason and persons behind this breach.

Travelling abroad either by plane, boat or train can consequently encourage people to falter with their hygiene measures. There could be two reasons for this: lack of resources which could lead them to not following good personal hygiene measures and also visiting countries such as third world countries which don’t have the same standard of hygiene.
