Everything was new and exciting. However, as time passed by, I felt really lonely and started missing my friends really bad. That is certainly the worst part about moving to another country: your social life gets really affected by that. I was always an easy person to become friends with, so I thought that wouldn’t be a problem for me here, but unfortunately I was wrong. I have lots of friends in Brasilia, and we used to hang out every weekend, and when we had nothing to do, they’d come over to my place so we could watch movies and play some games.
Texas Here I Come! Since I’m not especially fond of cold weather, I was ready for sunshine in my life. All of my family was now living in Texas and being near family is definitely a bonus. Traveling from Michigan to Texas is a long distance move of 1,163 miles. Without a moving company and doing the move I required a lot of preplanning.
One of my favorite things about Texas is watching The Texas Rangers baseball team. Even though they sucked it up this year, the games are still fun to go to. The ballpark is located in Arlington, and the drive is only about two hours away. Usually, when my family and I attend the games we go to Six Flags amusement park which is right beside it. Six flags is probably another one of my favorite things about Texas.
On the other hand, Houston was crowded, humid and just plain odd. But the longer I lived in Houston the more I learned about its uniqueness. In Houston there is culture, along with rodeos; champagne, along with beer and designer stores, along with Wal-Mart. Therefore there are no words to explain Houston, you have to experience it. Sometimes it seems like a different culture, but it’s a culture that many choose because it allows you to feel at home without being pretentious.
Kevin says alot of times he is anywhere but at his house. The most important thing in her life is her family(husband, one daughter, one son). A good friend to her is someone who she can count on in a time of need. Her favorite memory is visiting New Orleans with her husband she said that she remember riding the steamboat with him and going to different restaurants. It was just the two of them sharing a memorable moment in New Orleans. She spends her free time reading, listening to music, and watching TV.

UCLA In looking at my answers on the College Interview, I discovered that I although enjoy going out and having new experiences, I prefer seeking out for help only when help is needed. A large college with many people would probbably suit my needs. Also, I like colleges that are located in big cities. One thing I realized is that I am extremely not ready to move out of my parents house. So, I would like a college that is near my house, because I at least for a whole day.
