Introduction The fundamental principles and backbone of psychology, sits in many characteristics one of which focuses on counselling. More so focus on social and economic engagement between people but most importantly our personal experiences that influence our perception of others, our environment, ideas and general perception of the world. Through counselling we are able we are able to engage with others of different backgrounds and experiences, it is with this in mind that this document looks to indulge in. Focusing on an organization I have engaged with, looking at what work they do and how they transform, a society within their environment. I will look to go to great lengths to discuss and critically reflect on the organizations setting. It was paramount to set up a meeting and personally engaged with one of the counsellors of the Global Fund. Global Fund is a United Nation Foundation, a public charity that was created in 1998 with entrepreneur and philanthropist Ted Turner’s historic $1 billion gift to support UN causes and activities. The UN Foundation is an advocate for the UN platform for connecting people, ideas and resources to help the United Nations solve global problems. They build partnerships, grow constituencies, mobilize resources and advocate policy changes to support the UN’s work for individual and global progress. The UN Foundation elevates the profile of the Global Fund, support the Global Fund’s mission to combat malaria through the UN Foundation Malaria Partnership, which engages the United Methodist Church the UN Foundation through the Global and Lutheran World Relief to raise funds for malaria treatment and prevention.
