Three Rules To Happiness

What is happiness? By the dictionary, happiness means “the state or quality of being happy.” Most people don’t realize what makes them happy, but in reality, the thing that makes them happy is literally right in front of their face. They are blinded by the things that they can’t have. Once that one special thing disappears in your life, you’re left clueless, sad and miserable. To make yourself happy, you’ll have to follow these simple 3 rules: “Free your heart from hatred” was the first rule I’ve been told. This rule is helpful in life because.. well.. to start this off, would you like to live a life full of hatred? Think about it, every day you’ll be somewhere around town, all you can think about is how much you hate the town and everyone in it. Isn’t that a nice thought? No, not really. All hatred does is to bring stress on yourself. This rule improves my life because after reading this passage, I realized that life is too short to hate something that is not worth your time. Instead of despising someone or something, you could just ignore them/it and continuing living your life, don’t spend every day dwelling on something that is certainly not your time and realize what life is really about. “Free your mind from worries” was another rule I have been told. This rule basically means, don’t keep your mind on something that’ll keep you thinking every moment of the day. Just free your mind from everything and live your life. I can say that I, Tiffany Quang, am a worrier. I will always worry about everything! Every time a teacher announces about an upcoming test, I would ALWAYS, worry about how I will perform on the test. Every day before the test, I would study as much as I can, cramming in last minute studying. As I get the test in front of me, I realize that I did all of that studying for nothing! I knew everything from that test, even if I studied or not. At
