The Worst Decision Ever My name is Willard Carrell; I am currently thirty three years old. One day at the age of fifteen my two cousins, Danny and Ryan, and I decided to go on a shopping spree. It was no ordinary shopping spree though because this one would require no money. Of course it was my idea because I wanted to impress them with my criminal mastery of the shoplifting arts. We decided that the proper transportation for the event would be my uncle’s Ford Bronco. As we exited Ryan’s house he asked me if this was really such a good idea and I replied, “Sure everything will be fine I’ve done this a million times.” Once we were in the vehicle proceeding to our destination which was Wal-Mart, my adrenalin started to build. The thought never crossed my mind that anything could go wrong and in that moment I was fearless. When we reached the store of choice, I was first out of the truck with cousins in tow and I felt unstoppable like some kind of theft leader. When we entered the store Danny said “I am going to look at the CDs”, and Ryan said, “I am not sure where I am going”. None of that made much difference to me because by the time we were in I was already searching for would certainly be my spoils for the trip. The funny thing about the whole adventure was that I wasn’t taking anything I needed or necessarily wanted just random impulse items, like a pair of boxer shorts that I liked. I walked as fast but as calmly as I could through the aisles stopping erratically when I saw something I wanted. After our rampage through the store, we met up in the baby department to finish stashing the rest of our hi-jacked products into our clothing. I stood there thinking once we get out of here with all of this stuff they will be so impressed. Without saying a word we looked at each other and decided that it was time to go.
