Grandpa Bobby tells his story: some people offered him a job smuggling emeralds from South America, but later double-crossed him, tried to kill him, and stole his beloved fishing boat. Ever since then, he's been trying to track them down and get back his boat. It hurt to think that everyone thought he was dead, but it was necessary. First, he didn't want the guys he was looking for to know he was still alive; second, he also knew that if his son found out, he would, true to form, drop everything and rush down to South America without another thought. Grandpa Bobby was in a bar in a small fishing village in Colombia when he saw Paine's interview on the satellite TV.

Throughout the journey, Huck never pays attention to society’s thoughts but towards the end, he begins getting mixed thoughts. When he almost turns Jim into the slave catchers, he realizes that Jim is his best friend, and when he thinks he is doing the right thing by writing the letter to Ms. Watson, he then realizes that Jim does not deserve that.
Classism At the beginning of the novella after Coyotito is bitten by the scorpion, Steinbeck for the first indicates the classism: “the doctor will not come to this area of the little houses. He spent all his time with the rich people in their large stone houses.” In addiction, we learn from the story that the doctor is also a rich man. He only gives medication to the rich; for the poor like Kino’s family, he will treat Coyotito only if they have money to pay. Another indication of classism is found in Chapter 5 when Kino tries to sell the Pearl of the World in the town. Undoubtedly, Kino can’t break the class system in which the rich exploits the poor.
Creon prevents the people in Thebes to bury Polynices by saying that anyone who tries to bury him will be sentenced to death. This law may be harsh, but Polynices is a traitor who attacks his homeland. Creon makes no exceptions to the rule even when he realizes Antigone, his niece, tries to bury Polynices. It is easy for Creon to let Antigone get away with her crime, but he does what he thinks is right by starving Antigone. If he lets Antigone get away with burying her brother, it will make him seem weak, and the government corrupt.
He leaves Corinth and travels to Thebes, and on the way he unknowingly kills his father during a quarrel. After saving Thebes from the Sphinx, he is given the hand of Queen Jocasta, his mother, for marriage and he becomes the new king of Thebes. One of the many reasons Oedipus is a coward is that he didn’t want to face his parent s again. His thought at the moment when he blinds himself is that if he killed himself he will see his real parents in the underworld, who he had committed those crimes against. Instead of repenting for his sins he escapes them.

After the death of these men, instead of calling 911 he steals some money out the register and a bottle of wine off shelf. After Jefferson has been sentenced to death by execution, his godmother, Miss Emma, requests that Grant Wiggins teaches him to be a man before he dies instead of allowing him to die as a hog-which is what Jefferson’s defense attorney refers to him as. Although Grant initially doesn’t want to help Jefferson, he gradually changes throughout this book and accomplishes his goal of transforming him into a man.
When Adam retrieves Cal from the prison; Adam confesses that he thinks he is a bad father to the boys, and Cal confesses that he knows the truth about Cathy. Cal feels much closer to his father after their talk. Later Cal begins to spy on the brothel to learn about Cathy and gradually notices that she follows exactly the same schedule every Monday. She gives no sign that she notices him until she suddenly confronts him one Monday and asks why he has been following her. Cal tells Cathy that he is her son, so she takes him inside the brothel to talk.
That only does prophecies for money. Teiresias warns Creon that his defiance will lead to your downfall. He tells Creon that terrible punishment is awaiting him, Choragus advices Creon to free Antigone from her from her vault and build tomb for Polynieces. Creon listens and frees them. But it is already too late.
But after her father yells at her and tells her if she doesn’t marry she’ll be kicked out of the house; she goes to Friar Laurence for advice. When Juliet takes the potion Friar Laurence gives her she has to think about it. This is something Romeo probably wouldn’t do. But love over comes her decision and she takes it. Nobody tells Romeo that it’s just a potion and Juliet’s not really died, he buys poison and goes to Juliet’s tomb.
