Honor In 1776 American Colonies declared their freedom from Great Britain. In the Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson said “all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Thomas declared that all citizens have the rights to be free from oppression and have equal opportunities in pursuing their goals. But this didn’t include the slaves and this is where it all started. Slavery was outlawed in some states in the North but in the South it was still going on. Slavery ended on June 19, 1865 but this didn’t end the way Whites treated Blacks. She helped the poorest people of Calcutta. She would help give them food and take care of them out of her own pocket. She started a school of herself and taught the children herself eventually volunteers came to help with the school. She also started getting help financially from the Pope and other communities. She made “The Missionaries of Charity” to the people who need to be taken care of and be loved. “The Missionaries of Charity was spreading worldwide. She truly cared about other people than herself. Jenni Rivera was an honorable person because she genuinely care about others. She donated money to the Children Hospital in Los Angeles, Ca. She founded a foundation for women whose husbands, would kicked them out of their house or hit them. She help them find a career, help get a house of there own. Also she would pay for for children's surgeries if parents couldn't pay for them. She did a lot to help her community and made a big difference in people's lives. You don't have to be a famous person or someone special in history to be an honorable person. You would have to earn it and make a difference in your life and the people that you want to help and remember you as honorable. Honor in itself is incredible but the people that make it even more incredible are amazing and make a big difference in history and
