Test-taking, career-oriented, learning behavior, decision-making, and critical thinking are all areas in which I have strengths. I was able to apply this to my theory through the way in which class is conducted, and the students are assessed. DI and inclusion push for children to embrace their learning behavior and styles while helping them develop deeper thinking processes. Creating success and higher levels of thinking allow children to become goal orientated which will help them when it is time to choose career paths of their own. In my theory, an effective teacher must also be willing to change and adapt lesson plans based on the needs of the students.
Balancing School, Work, and Family In America it is important to have an education to enhance your job and provide a comfortable future for your family. After having my daughter I realized that education is significant in order to succeed. Working takes a lot of time away from my family. It is important to offer children lots of first-hand experiences so that they can develop knowledge and draw from their own experiences. Social Models – These theories look at the environment in which the children are learning and the adults they are supported by. Social models link to cultural approaches and role modelling. Children learn by observing and imitating and so watching and being supported by adults who encourage and work creatively by being flexible in approach, solving problems and painting and drawing with them can help develop their creativity.
An intuitive learner is one who prefers to take information in an abstract form such as ideas, images or ideas. When I am learning something new I like being able to see what it is I am learning and use charts, pictures or diagrams to solve it. Visual learners are those who learn through seeing things, they learn by using a visual aid when studying like colorful outline of test materials. Again when it comes to learning I get it a lot faster when someone shows me by using a diagram, picture, outline or charts. In each subject I tend to color organize my notes and notecards which makes it easier for me to study.
Asking plenty questions in class and understanding every little thing that the teacher is saying is what my mom wants from me.
