1. When Ralph says “No grown-ups!” it shows he is quite rebellious inside. He clearly likes the thought of having a society and a life with no grown-ups and being able to do what he wants when he wants to do it. The quotation also suggests he wants to be ‘ambitious’ and become a teenager thinking it will mean he is grow up and can do anything. One other suggestion it gives is Ralph had never had complete freedom before this moment, and is always controlled by adults, so when he ‘realised’ there was no one to control him, he was excited at the idea.
But Ender went to the Commander school directly after Battle school. By this we can understand that he is the best in the Battle school. As Bean said “Nobody goes to Command school until somebody becomes sixteen”. (Card 223) And Ender was only nine year old.
when the men thought it was Mathu that killd Beau they knew they had to go. They wanted to show that they were still men regardless of age and they wanted to prove that they were still worth something and thought if they stood up for Mathu it would truly show there worth. Earlier I talked about how everyone wanted to go because they thought Mathu did it. If it was anyone else they would not have been so inclined to go. Mathu was the only one who ever stood up for himself when everyone else was to afraid to.
When a deposit bottle is broken you don't get your nickel back.” Bernard, Charley's son, is a loyal character as well. He looks after Biff, he wants him to do well. “ He gotta study, Uncle Willy. Ender’s Game Essay In Ender’s Game, the colonel comments that Ender wins thoroughly. This is a sufficient explanation for why Ender hurts people, because when someone wins thoroughly, the person does not have to worry about fighting anymore, and Ender does not like to fight. Ender does not turn to others for help because he believes that nobody is going to be there to help him, because they know they are trying to make him stronger. Ender is not a killer, he just tries his best to win his battles in one, and in every fight he gets placed in, he does not know that he killed his enemy, it is only afterwards that he finds out. In the schoolyard, when Ender is fighting Stilson and knocks him down, he decides to “win it now, and for all

He builds up his son’s ego by telling them that all you need to be is well-liked. Theses false values shown by Willy makes Biff become overwhelmed with confidence that all he needs is to be attractive in order to be successful and makes him think of why should he have to try hard in school when his appealing personality will make up for poor grades. Willy’s flawed view of success, where being well-liked is more important than being the best at whatever job you pursue, leads to failure and unhappiness in both his life and his sons life’s in the business world.
