Throughout ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ Atticus Finch acts the same in his house around Jem and Scout as he does outside with everyone else. As a lawyer, Atticus represents exactly what someone working in the justice. He is not prejudice; he is fair, looks at all situation from different angles and doesn’t hold any grudges. ‘Atticus Finch is the same in his house as he is on the public streets’ and this is also true for his behaviour in the courtroom. Atticus is a very skilled lawyer and this is proven when we points out that Bob Ewell is lying about Tom Robinson, without being rude and impolite.
When Scout asked Atticus what it meant he said it in a way she couldn’t understand and also told her he didn’t want to see her in a fight ever a again. She didn’t understand why but really Atticus was teaching her how to endure the different types of persecution due to his case. Jem is mentally influenced by the verdict and Atticus’s moral/social courage . At the court he is for certain that Atticus will win the case because of all the evidence that Atticus pointed out especially about Tom’s hand .The jury had turned a blind eye to his evidence ,Jem is overwhelmed by the outcome and then realized that Maycomb is different from the way he perceived it. Macbeth had a great deal of trouble putting his trust into people other than his wife after the success of this murder. She is the one person that Macbeth wanted to protect by all means and even stated “unsafe the while that we/Must lave our honors in these flattering streams/And make our faces vizards to our hearts/Disguising what they are” (III.ii.33-37). Essentially this was his way of letting his wife have an understanding of the events that were to soon take place without causing her to think too much of it. A somewhat deceptive way of putting it indeed, but it would keep others from having suspicious thoughts about the Macbeths. This is a prime depiction of how Macbeth is already uneasy in life and that he will turn to crime to solve a minor problem.
Bundy seemed like a decent man on the outside. He lived like a normal person, talked like a normal person, and acted like a normal person but he had a secret obsession for killing. And after every murder he would just think back about how the gentle man with gentle thoughts and struck. This feeling made him feel good, it gave him great strength in his own mind. As he would laugh at the authorities trying to hunt the offender down. But of course like all cases they must come to a close, the offender gets caught and just is served but no in jack the rippers case, he was never caught. Because Unlike today, with DNA evidence, and other forensic tools, made famous by current TV shows, there was little to go on except the 'gut instinct' of the police, testimony of witnesses, etc.
