Johnson replied, taking the paper from Harries. When he finished writing his name and number, he gave the paper back. “Thank you. Can you tell me where your daughter was the night she left the house?” “Well, I was told she went to a bonfire at Ocean Beach with a couple of friends.” “You were told?” Harries asked. “Yes, I was at work at the time and didn’t come home until around 6:45 that night.” Harries nodded his head, “I see. So I was looking up information on Kylee, and it seems that she didn’t exist before 2001. Can you tell me why that is?” “What are you talking about? Kylee has been there my whole life. There must be something wrong with your computers.” “I’ll get them checked out. Thank you for your cooperation. You’re
