Task 1 – List 5 qualities that a ‘good’ teacher should have and give reasons for your choices. Which of these qualities do you consider to be more important, and why? 1. A good teacher should have established rapport with their students to be able to show to them the importance of the lesson and to be able to ease the tension between the student-teacher relationships. 2. A good teacher should also have proficient knowledge of the topics to be discussed to be able to maximize the learning of his or her students. 3. A good teacher must also be kind and patient to their students since as we all know humans have different capabilities and we must adjust to the phase of our students. 4. A good teacher must also be able to give motivation to their students since learning is way much better if one is motivated. 5. Last but not the least but the most important is that the teacher must have passion in teaching and thinks way more of their student’s learning. Task 2 – State what you consider to be the five most important roles of a teacher. Describe each role and say why you think it is important. 1. Manager Being a manager means being in command of everything. It is important for the teacher to be able to handle their class. It doesn’t imply that being a manager would always be a strict dictatorship way but being able to weigh things out. 2. Organizer Being an organizer, is setting up the things or activities to be done in class. It is important that being a teacher that you must be able to make your daily schedule for class by planning out things ahead to be able to provide them the best learning in each day. 3. Assessor Being an assessor means being able to assess the level of learning of your students. It is important that the teacher knows the strengths and weaknesses of his or her students to be able to provide compliments and strengthen
