Even though I might have a tough time in math, I will surely succeed. I can visit the professor during office hours with any questions and or concerns I have about certain areas. As well as, look at tutorial videos on MathXL or on YouTube. The more I get adapt to the subject, the more I will get comfortable to complete future problems. This transition from high school to college has become a blessing and a burden.

In order to be successful one needs to have a great motivator. It takes a lot of determination, and patients in order to reach and surpass set goals. For me my motivator is success. My confidence plays a big role in the person I am today. Freshman year was based on hard work and trying new things. This taught me to be in control. The work was not going to get done for me so to succeed I was the one who had to push myself and take over. Being a part of drill team has helped me with control by helping others in learning routines or chants with taking charge when others do not.
Learning to manage your time with all the freedom college brings is one of the hardest transitions to make. While in high school you always were reminded when your work was due and etc. In college its your own responsibility to know when you have work to be turned in and test. For a student to effectively foster reading retention they should learn to take great notes. This skill is one that every student should master.
