Develop and document, on behalf of an organisation for which you do or might work, a detailed process whereby it will be possible to investigate, identify, assess, and include the needs of customers in planning processes. Activity 1.docx How can quality, time and cost requirements be balanced? It's all about the expectations of the customer and what they intend on using it for. If they pay a premium price for a product then they expect it to be of premium quality and a quick turnaround. If the product is of low value, then the quality expectation isn't so great.
Finally, we have seen how these incentives affect different types of organizations. We have seen cases where companies move for reasons that other may consider small like consultation, or travel. While others move because of additional material benefits, such as lower labor, and shipping costs. Because of the importance of this decision an organization should study the different types of incentives and chose the most beneficial to their
Critical Thinking Everyone, whether they are aware of it or not, utilizes critical thinking in every day of his or her lives; critical thinking is an important piece in every task carried out to produce the best possible outcome. There are some people who are weak, and some who are strong, critical thinkers (Paul & Elder, 2006, p. 2). However,
This exercise sets out everything I find important to myself and put a value upon it. This gives priority a new meaning because placing value on family and salary and certain things you want and need out of a job make a difference on what kind of job that maybe in mind. This creates an action plan in which requires a person to set limits to what needs to be given up for what job you want or want to work up too. Setting career priorities define my goals and help me look for a job because it makes me want to accomplish every goal I set for myself, so I can be happy and have everything I need to live and survive with. It is important when evaluating career variables because it helps me define my potential and where I want to spend my time working.
Without prior market penetration of an organization’s competetitors, the usefulness and effectiveness of properly marketing a new product or service can be quite burdensome. This is due to the fact that an organization runs a major risk of constantly striving to maintain its customer base, as the new type of product or service has not yet been introduced into the maintstream. Additionally, pricing may be an issue based upon: Should pricing be very low to attract new buyers?, or Should pricing be set high to offset initial entry into a new marketplace? These are the questions that an organization must face, but for the most part, being a
Capacity is a key element in a firm’s production strategy; all resources (manpower, facilities, machinery) impact strategic capacity planning. Strategic capacity planning involves many variables, which provides flexibility in targeting specific production objectives. Conversely, poor strategic capacity planning can negatively affect a company’s production process; for example, it would be detrimental to a company that produced perishable or time-sensitive products to maintain excessive warehousing space, since the product has very little shelf life. The opposite would also be true—if a company had insufficient warehousing for nonperishable or non-time sensitive goods, it would not be able to store sufficient product to meet customer demand during surge periods. In supply chain management, strategic capacity planning controls the demand of new opportunities at minimal cost (Chase, Jacobs, and Aquilano, 2006).
• A differentiator must control its cost structure to ensure the price of its products does not exceed the price customers are willing to pay for them • When differentiation stems from the design or physical features of the product, differentiators are at great risk of being imitated ▫ Example? • When differentiation stems from superior service or reliability, or from any intangible source a company is much more secure. ▫ Example?
Gaps in policy administration promote inconsistency and can result in weakened productivity and stalled organizational growth (Kammeyer-Mueller, 2009). Reports indicate that Tanglewood has resilient profit ratio percentages and robust growth potential. This paper provides my assessments and suggestions for executing strategy in the areas of staffing levels and staffing quality to achieve organizational growth (Kammeyer-Mueller, 2009) . STAFFING LEVELS Acquire or Develop Talent Staffing is the process of ascertaining an organization’s human capital needs, and then providing sufficient quantities of qualified applicants to assist the organization in its ability to be effective (Henemann, p. 8).

Leaders need to know their weaknesses to
