Strategic Plan: JC Fish House – Part III BUS/475 August 6, 2012 Strategic Plan: JC Fish House – Part III Four Perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard The first perspective is the learning and growth perspective, which focuses on technological innovations, employee satisfaction, and employee retention. The first objective is to obtain the latest in technological innovations and to stay current with the latest innovations in the restaurant industry. The employees will be fully trained on how the system works before starting work on the floor to handle the customers. When updates are made to the software each employee will receive additional training to ensure his or her success in handling the new program. If an employee still thinks that he or she needs additional training more time will be aside to accommodate that need, after all a confident employee is more success at handling his or her job and the customers. The next objective is employee satisfaction, which will be provided by a healthy and happy work environment. Employees will be encouraged to provide feedback concerning their working experience at JC Fish House. Employee incentives will be given to encourage the employees to be all he or she can be, which will assist in the retention of employees as well. JC Fish House will do all it can to keep its employee happy and at the job. Employees will be allowed to take part in discussions concerning the restaurant and provide suggests, which can help solve any problems within the restaurant. The goal is to keep employee turnover down, which will keep cost down.
