One of the easiest ways to develop good habits at a young age is to participate in youth sports. Throughout youth sports its encouraged to eat right, hydrate and exercise. Some youth even see a personal trainer to assist with strength and flexibility. Students will be less focused in school, and less likely to continue their educations, if they dread going to school each day. Including art and music in he curriculum will motivate students, and will inspire them to enjoy school. It will also give them a creative outlet. Many young people have trouble expressing their emotions in words, but find that the can communicate their ideas through music and art. Giving students an opportunity to create every day will keep them engaged in learning, keep frustration at bay, and lead to happier, more fulfilled children.
School enforces a healthy lifestyle, and that makes sense and is a good goal for schools to have. When questioning people on their thoughts, some said that having kids go through a gym class now would help convince them to have a healthier life as they grow earlier. But when it comes down to it, school is about education. While it does play a large part in how students turn out as adults, the point of school is to educate them, not make them run around. Looking at a health class as an example, they teach students about what is good for them and what is bad for them.
Not exercising can cause more serious issues then you think. Not only will you gain weight over time, but you have greater risk of diabetes, heart disease, and some types of cancer. For those who do exercise, they get the benefits that all could get. The benefits are the decreased blood pressure, live a longer life, have a better mood, less risk to obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers. Similarly it is easier to take part in extra-curricular activities such as plays, sports matches and art if they do not have to arrange travel home late at night or after the school buses have left. Diversity of experience is not neglected as many schools run community volunteering schemes, and anyway students will spend substantial periods away from school in the holidays. Living with peers of their own age, round the clock, teaches children how to get along with each other and compromise. A variety of characters and interests must be accommodated, teaching children tolerance and compromise in a regulated environment. This can be especially helpful for working with university or company colleagues in the future.
