Rochelle Phillips has to prepare a report to the management on the new production process she had been testing at Duro Industries. Duro was facing increased competition from foreign firms and there were fundamental ways in which brick companies managed their production process. Foreign firms were using vector drives in moving products through the process. The CEO of Duro wanted Rochelle to evaluate the feasibility of undertaking this new approach. Rochelle decided to compare two plants for 50 days, Memphis plant-which will have the vector drive and Birmingham plant-which will use the existing system and prepare a report.
To better understand the size of a household for AJ Davis’s credit customers we used a table of descriptive statistics, frequency table, and a bar chart. Descriptive Statistics: Size Variable Mean SE Mean StDev Variance Minimum Q1 Median Q3 Size 3.420 0.246 1.739 3.024 1.000 2.000 3.000 5.000 N for Variable Maximum Mode Mode Size 7.000 2 15 Tally for Discrete Variables: Size Size Count CumCnt 1 5 5 2 15 20 3 8 28 4 9 37 5 5 42 6 5 47 7 3 50 N= 50 This information tells us that the mean, or average, household size of the credit customer is 3.42. The median, or middle, household size is 3. There is a standard deviation of 1.739. As can be seen in the bar chart and the frequency table, the mode, or most frequent occurring household size, is 2 with 15 out of the 50 households being this size.

The Commonwealth Fund System Scorecard Comparison James Randazzo Kaplan University For my power point presentation, I selected Child Health System Ranking, and then measured the percent of parents ages 19-64 that are insured in the year 2011. I selected this comparison measure because I fall under it, me being 22 years of age. For my first comparison slide I selected my home state of New Jersey. I was surprised to see it ranked 25th out of all the states. You would think more people in that age group would be insured, either on an independent insurance plan or through their family healthcare insurance plan.
Both would battle for control of the new settlement. England was one of the first Englishmen to settle in the area which became Virginia Beach.
