Human Population Growth Lisa Turley SCI/230 Shannon Kam October 24, 2014 A population is a subset of individuals of one species that occupies a particular geographic area and, in sexually reproducing species, interbreeds (2014). Limiting factors such as food supply and living conditions can affect a population’s size, density, age structure, and growth rate.
