The school always sends a letter to parents to ask if their children have any disabilities, ailments or allergies that we need to know of, inhalers and relevant medication are kept in the school office. There is a strict rule that needs to be followed concerning children being picked up from school and if parents cannot pick their children up, meaning someone else picking them up, the school needs to know to avoid any risks of child abduction.
We also communicate in order to motivate the people around us to name a few reasons. 2. We communicate with the children in order to teach them new skills, we also use communication to encourage and motivate the children as well as other staff on a daily basis. We as staff must communicate in order to keep the children safe from relaying information of a hazard check or announcing the finding of a potential hazard to passing on concerns about a child if that should arise.
All nursery staff must have regard to the standards and must also meet regulatory requirements and the conditions of their registration. The standards focus on securing positive outcomes for children under eight and reducing risks to their welfare and safety. Children deserve the best possible for their well-being and development. When parents leave their children with us in the nursery I am entrusted with the care of these children and is important that I give the best alternative care possible and that standards are maintained to ensure the safe and well-being of the child.
