Name Course Instructor Date Eradicating environmental issues The environment bonds together every person in the worldwide, and problems with the environment are binding us all together even more. Ironically, human beings are the cause of this predicament. Furthermore, they are the only ones who can reverse this problem. The quest to improve the environment involves two solutions. They include changing their way of life or transforming almost everything they use to eco-friendly products.
When working in a team environment, you need to be a team player and offer information and knowledge whenever possible, get along with several members of staff and show respect. A supporting and friendly environment will ensure that you (as a team) provide the best possible service to the needs of everyone. The positive and supportive working environment will facilitate and ensure the physical, social, emotional, language and intellectual area of the child is met. This will also assist in managing any transitions. Excellent working relationships and good communication can make it rewarding to all team members and achieve job satisfaction for all.
We have to set up guidelines to secure our environments well-being and follow them in order to save them from becoming extinct and hurting us in the long run, we must reduce our waste and pollution rate and restore as much as we can back to create a well-balanced eco-system to try to place it back to some kind of normalcy to secure human a future access to natural resources. 3. Identify solutions to each of the 3 components of your environmental footprint that you listed in question 1. What are the savings of BOTH carbon emissions and money you can achieve via each solution? solutions to each of the 3 components of your environmental footprint listed in question 1 Savings of carbon emissions Savings of
Companies are forced to create safer products for the public to use, and also learn to make better with fewer resources. Corporations must invent new ways to cut down on their waste and work with less to create more. Corporations work diligently to cut down their use of water and electricity and other essential needs. They have educated the public about the importance of recycling used products and keeping their environment clean. Over consumption has led to many cures and medicines being created, and has made the world a better and safer place then it once was.
People will not stop breathing, just like people will not stop using toilet paper because we are accustomed to having it while using the bathroom. To reduce the number of trees being cut down everywhere, people can start looking into using material that recycles itself. For example, using recyclable paper will allow one to use that sheet of paper and recycle it to be used again. Also, Beavan started using only his reusable grocery bag when he shopped (61). This process will not only avoid the cost of buying material over and over again, but also save the trees from being cut down.
The waste management program consists of two programs such as the recycling and waste management. The waste prevention program is responsible for helping reduce waste before it is formed. Leaders are responsible for educating the staff on the importance of waste management and recycling and ways to maintain a clean environment and express the benefits for future generations to come. Once the staff comprehends the concept and accepts it, it will not be too difficult to get them to use utensils that are non-disposable. By using non disposable utensils, plates and cups, we are able to meet sanitary standards in the facilities.
It would be best if these technologies that make our lives so much easier and convenient would also make it easier for the entire planet. Pollution is a very big concern for everyone. Air, water, and noise pollutions are byproducts of modernization because humans have simply overlooked the environment for so long a time. Again, there is nothing wrong in wanting to advance to the next level - but we owe it to the planet to consider its needs as well. Now that so many groups and individuals (even businesses) have started to go green and to think green, it may not really be too late for this planet.
It is also a weed suppresser to prevent other weeds from growing because it grows so fast and densely, it blocks out sunlight to other weeds that are trying to grow. This allows farmers to use hemp as a replacement for herbicides and reducing toxins into the ground and surrounding water sources. Hemp can be used to replace petroleum and plastic products and are still biodegradable so it reduces the amount dumped into landfills. Since hemp can be used to replace gasoline and petroleum essentially replacing oil this reduces the environmental risks and impacts of oil drilling. This is a major environmental impact made when off shore drilling accidents happen made seen to the public by the BP accident in April of 2010 where 200 million gallons of crude oil was “spewed” into the ocean.
It maintains Earth’s natural resource and eliminates some of the waste that is buried or burnt. But perhaps the most important advantage of recycling is the amount of energy saved and the decline in greenhouse gases and pollution that result from scrap materials being substituted for virgin materials (The Truth about Recycling. (2007). Economist, 383(8532), 22. Retrieved from EBSCOhost).
Secondly, recycling system must be developed and finally creating public awareness about cause and impact of public hazard to the environment and human health. Firstly, we should buy environmentally safe products and these should be reasonably priced to be attractive to the average consumer. For example, not many consumers are aware of the existence of biodegradable products and their benefits in cutting down environmental pollution. Furthermore, many consumers who would be interested in buying recycled or environmentally friendly products are put off by the high prices charged for them. As such, there should be more encouragement for consumers to buy environmentally friendly products.. Secondly, used products should not be treated as waste but as valuable resources.
