You may not always enjoy the company found in your working relationships as you do in your personal ones, but must always act in a professional manner based on the values and targets you have been set to work to. 2. Within a Healthcare setting you will be expected to work with a wide variety of people. Patients and their families/carers/visitors, Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Cleaners, Ward waiter/waitresses and all manner of visiting Allied Healthcare Professionals such as OT’s, Physiotherapists, Radiographers etc. We also, could not do our job without the fantastic input from the many voluntary organisations working within the hospital such as multi faith leaders and support groups.
This mainly happens because care workers have the people in their lives with whom they have a professional relationship (i.e. doctors or colleges) and people they closely connected to (i.e. family members), the people we care for will mostly have both of these groups in their lives. There is a third category which would be the people we choose to have in our lives (i.e. friends or a spouse), this is the group that is sometimes missing from the people we care for.

It is important to adhere to the agreed scope of the job role in order to fulfil defined roles and responsibilities within the job description. Also, as part of a contract of employment, employees have a legal responsibility to fulfil, including the need to apply professional boundaries in order to work within professional limitations and meet the required performance of the job.
These relationships will include: colleagues, manager, other professionals such as doctors/district nurse, service users and their family and friends. According to the assessment, there was concern with project ownership. If teams are brought together earlier, with an identified time commitment that would help towards engagement of members. Also if a communication plan were in place then even members that are not involved with the project on a full-time basis would be able to stay in touch with the progress so that when they are brought back into the plan, the catch up time would not be as great. For a company to succeed they need to establish strong equality in the work place. Team emphasis is high and team member are treated equally and respected since they require assistance from each other.

An employee also needs to develop the capacity or the skills to perform or work. Another important aspect of performance management is to periodically rate the performance of each and every employee or team member. A good way to keep employees motivated and performing well is to reward the good performance of each employee who does well. Planning work for any organization is very important. It is very important for the work to be planned out in advance to ensure success.
Should an employee not gain knowledge of any new information on practices, they are liable for any future errors, which could lead to a potential safeguarding issue bought upon them. An employee that continually improves on their knowledge of the sector, policies, procedures, the organisation in which they work for and their job role, is showing a great work ethic and an ideal role model for other colleagues and team members. An employee working within the health and social care sector should also be aware of their personal abilities and where professional development is needed. An employee should ensure that they are fully trained in their particular job role and should there be any changes to their role or the organisation, an employee should include themselves in the re-training process. For example, my role as a Care Supervisor has currently undergone a split in the role, bringing on a support supervisor to take on half of the role's daily tasks.
