Recognizing Wisdom A wise choice is one that demonstrates the appreciation between you and others along the years is not a choice that you know you can’t commit. Being wiser is setting yourself for bigger things and being thankful for what you have accomplished and to who supported you. We must care about wisdom just how we care about our life, because wisdom teaches us how to be responsible and helps us accept that we can’t know everything in life. We are place is a share giving community where we must adapt to the people that surround us, let’s listen and make the right decisions. As one of my favorite quotes said, “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” -Socvates. In other words, in order to achieve you must believe in yourself before you give a step to a new future. “Be there for others” is an example of advice I believe shows a strong definition on wisdom so therefore, I’ll be speaking of some ideas of how I define the word Wisdom through Victor Villaseñor. Being there for others does not only show wisdom, but it helps us reflect to one another on how we can help each other succeed. Every time I feel there’s anyone who needs help, I don’t hesitate at all to give them a hand on whatever they need. I believe that is a choice you must make in order for you to feel the wisdom inside you. An example from Victor Villaseñor’s book Why And How I Became A Writer inspires me; it shows how someone put their mind and heart together with wisdom to help someone that didn’t have one cent to succeed, “He doesn’t have a dime. Zita and I send him money every month, but you’d never know it, and the words that come out of his mouth are either the most insensitive words ever spoken, or the man is brilliant so far beyond all the rest of us that we have a lot of catching up to do” (124). I chose this quotation above because it showed me how Villaseñor shows his wisdom
