Mass media uses these technologies on a daily bases for a number of functions. Today radio reaches mass and diverse audiences. Radio is not just reserved for radio players or car speakers. Listeners vote on songs by tapping the thumbs up or thumbs down to signal wheteher they dislike or like a song.

Music Influence Music has been around since the beginning of time even though we do not see how music in the ancient world was even music. Since then music has gone through many stages where singers/songwriters relay messages through their music because of the world corruption and how it affects our lives. Music is a part of what society is whether its accepted or not, it can’t be gotten rid of. Music takes on the role of how the world is around us. Most people may not even realize it, but songwriters incorporate world events into the songs we hear every day.
Open Ended Noise We all listen to music on a regular basis. It has become part of our culture today. When we walk into a clothing store you can hear the new hip tunes blast along the loud speakers. When we call a business they will often play music when they put you on hold. Even when we are watching television there is always music behind the scenes that is captivating our emotions.

Some of the commonly watched television channels include WOWT- TV Omaha, WOI- TV West Des Moines, WHO TV, and others. The Messenger, Missouri Valley Times- News, Omaha World- Herald, and Des Moines Register are some of magazines and newspapers commonly read by people from my community. For that reason, it is conclusive to say that the local media in my community represents people like me because the Media includes all kinds of information that benefits all people including people like me.
