5. The creation and execution of the plan to make employees aware of their roles in the DRP/ECP plan while confirming their understanding A1. DRP/ECP Roles Slide 3: Presenter's Notes: The responsibility of the emergency management team is to coordinate a series of teams within the university. First the perimeter security team is responsible for maintaining the physical security of the university’s property during an emergency. Second the technical support team must define operational procedures to create preparedness for an emergency; procedures to execute during an emergency situation, and procedures for catastrophic events to allow the business to function.
The next step is to identify risks that will need to be managed during course of the job. You also have to assign responsibilities for health and safety concerns. These individuals will be responsible for communication between the different parties, and consulting with the workforce. They will also handle design changes and assist in selecting sub-contractors. Other responsibilities included site security, onsite training, health facility arrangements, site rules, and fire and evacuation plans.
Emergency Planning Task 1 P4: Identify the agencies that were involved in different major incidents. P5: Describe the work of agencies at UK incidents and their legal duties. The agencies that are involved in different Major Incidents are the three Emergency Services; the Police Service, the Fire Service, and the Ambulance Service. When there is an incident, they all work together in order to keep the incident under control and to save many lives as possible, trying to keep casualties to the minimum. When working together, they have their own specific tasks to do.
Each of these teams works in different shifts and hours, for example Air Support Unit, is staffed by 18 police constables, three police sergeants, police staff including pilots, operations room staff, engineers and an intelligence officer who need to be ready 24/7 if there is a call and air support is needed. Also, there are different skills required to join any of these teams in Police Service. Some of the most important skills are communication, where all members of staff need to be able to communicate clearly with others so that all tasks can be done safely and correctly. As an example I can use Dog Squad, were the dog is also a member of the team, and police officer needs to be able to communicate with this dog clearly so that it can make it’s purpose of helping the police and also to be used effectively. Another very important skills are professional and personal skills which are known as punctuation, pride of appearance and behaviour.

By doing so they had to install fire protection, improved piping systems, and auxiliary feedwater systems. They also had to identify the workers performances as a critical part of the plant’s safety. The NRC also had to enhance emergency preparedness that includes an immediate NRC notification requirement for plant events and an NRC operations center that is staffed 24 hours a day. The Three Mile Island accident also caused the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to look at these nuclear sites more carefully and to be handled aggressively under supervised attention. Regular checks were to be made by senior NRC mangers to check on the plants performances these mangers identify the plants needing additional regulatory attention.
