“So not only was there promise of economic opportunity, but also a sense of economic equality.” Abundant land encouraged settlement; and the need for people to work land encouraged people to marry early, and have large families. Larger number of American women married; had more children and at an earlier age. Children were expected to work in the fields until grown, when they could get their own land, start their own family, and repeat the process over again. However, since the overwhelming amount of immigrants to America were

(Champagne & Harpham, 21) Texas seems to be urbanizing more and more. This shift brings about economic growth and diversification which means new roads will have to be built, more construction, and expanded water and sewer systems (window.tx.state.us, Susan Combs, Texas in Focus: A Statewide View of Opportunities) thus creating many more jobs as well. A state that was once majority Anglo’s has become a state of all races, which has also driven the growth in population. Texas is now a state where different ethnicities have a larger number that the Anglo’s. People are coming from all over to work in the oil field particularly.
Population increased as agricultural productivity did. The more food surplus they had, enabled them to support a larger population than ever before. The Han’s agriculture increased partly because of the iron industry for tougher implements, and the roman began to specialize production, and concentrate on latifundia for export. Around 1450-1700 Western Europe expanded their Atlantic trade. They began exploring other parts of the world, and even building colonies in some of these places. They began to explore Africa as well as the Americas. Western Europe gained many things from this new land, which they were able to use in order to enhance their own economy. It made it more apparent that heavy industries, factories and coal mining were becoming more and more important. As stated above the railroads made the trade of goods, coal and steel easier which lead to the growth of steel production as well as the growth of large corporations in the oil, sugar and meat industries. With the arrival of new machine driven factories, the need for skilled workers was dramatically reduce, creating more opportunities for unskilled workers. These laborors were hired to clear lands, build and repair tracks and build the trains needed to supply the new demands. With the promise of learning a trade and becoming more wealthy a new class of people was appearing in the cities, the middle class.
They grew cotton, beans, wheat and barley in the rich soil once the flood waters had receded. The farmers learned to dig short canals to and around their crops to provide a year round water supply. They figured out that if they planted their crops as soon
I know this because of the nurturing of life with a season of monsoons and hell two times a year. This creator has followed the ideas of what is now know as the human G_D. Taking the ways of long days and months to have created this world. I find that a woman would have taken their time to make sure we are in her eyes. She as the creator has tried to put a touch of carefulness and torture in the layouts of the land.
In this era the United States was under going some major changes that were developing the country into how we know it today. Industrialization essentially made work easier for those in factories. Due to the use of assembly lines in factories across the country, not only were the factories producing more of their products but they were also being produced faster. In this time frame, factories were located in the heart of the cities with access to everything else like stores and markets around them. The demand for workers increased heavily in these new factories, which was a reason why individuals were moving into the cities to work in the factories vis à vis in the fields farming.
