Being charged with a felony can ruin one’s future, as you cannot be a lawyer, teacher, etc, if you have been convicted of a felony. What part of sexting is a felony? Explain before you argue. When teenagers realize that they might have committed a felony, they are too afraid to face police officers because of possible jail time they have to do. Police officers are charging the sender of the image(s) and the receivers with jail time or to register as a sex offender.
