Jesse Nichols Liza Wilcox Eng102-13 1/31/2012 Assignment #1: Argumentative Essay Bottled Water: More Harm than Good Water, one of the most essential things to life, has now become a product that companies can bottle and sell to consumers. These companies claim that bottled water has benefits that tap water does not. Do these companies discuss how much waste is produced or how good America’s tap water already is? There may be some benefits to drinking water from a bottle, but the costs are too much to continue supporting it. The out of pocket cost of drinking bottled water for the recommended 8 glasses a day would shock the average person.
Without the one-child policy, the population of China will keep increasing. With a big population stress Chinese families cannot get better living conditions. The increasing population is only not a burden for China; it is also a burden for the world. With the limited natural resources, controlling population is a good way to ease the presses. In other words, one-child policy is another way to reduce the resources.
China’s economy and citizens health is currently under fire because the universal health care spending is no longer proving a profit for the economy. Both counties are currently trying to reduce the impact healthcare

Bottled water Debates appear to have grown a lot on whether bottled water is worth spending money on or not, especially while it is available for free. However, we all know that tap water is cleaned that have been through so many waste. Dr.Pankaj Parekh, director of the water quality division of the city of Los Angeles, has mentioned that, “Water in some cities containers, has contained contaminants that become likely cancer-causing compounds when exposed to sunlight” (Duhigg, “That Tap Water Is Legal But Maybe Unhealthy”)1. Dozens of architectural and cultural sites will also disappear under the reservoir. We Should Be Concerned About the Speed of Population Growth in South and East Asia In a region that’s population is growing in between 1 and 2 percents annually, and is already struggling greatly to take care of the people that they have, something needs to be done before it gets any more out of hand. As it stands now the population density of East Asia is around 131 people per Km, and South Asia’s isn’t much less. There isn’t enough food to support the current population, nor is the health care system in place able to take care of the number of people now. Crime rates tend to increase as a country or region's population increases. Something needs to be done to either control the population growth in these regions or find a way to make it possible for such a large number of people to live in that region.
I have leaned that if your population is to high your people will feel crowded and there will be a food shortage but more people equals more taxes. So I had to figure out a way to balance the rising population but also Battle over population. The answer was (this is the shocker…) industrialization of farmlands. ( Again does this sound familiar?). Its no surprise that China is one of the most Industrialistic country with over 1, 330, 044, 544 people ( as of July 2008 Source: www.google.com ) which in my scientific analysis says nearly 700, 000, 000 are in the work force and within nearly 100, 000, 000 or less (much, much less) are in agriculture or livestock.
