The advert was created to publicize Zeniths advancements in radio technology, and create purchase appeal among the United States’ population for their product. Secondly, the advert created awareness about the looming World War II and showed why Zenith Radio Corporation, which had played a major role in short wave technology, should be a first choice for the intended audience who were the government and United States citizens.
