My number one spiritual gift is shepperd and the second is a tie of two: administration and evangelization. I agree with the results and even though it is not the first time that someone mentions these particular gifts, it was very encouraging results. I also agree because I have served at my former local church using the gifts of evangelization and administration. My husband and I directed a TV and radio evangelistic campaign. PART TWO: Specifically, how can you use your gifts at this time?
The life of Christ in Mark’s Gospel evidently accounts the humble and just acts of Jesus Christ on earth. Jesus was seen as an activist, a teacher and a healer. He touched the lives of many people in sickness, taught us the ways of faith and challenged the position of other people of power at the time. The ministries of Jesus teach us relevant lessons not only for the people that were living the New Testament but also for catholics to reflect on today. Mark’s Gospel has a vast number of examples portraying Jesus as a leader of new teachings.

Purpose Sanders’ Spiritual Leadership begins with an initial assumption that readers are looking to begin or strengthen their leadership skills as it relates to the ongoing work of God in the world and through the body of Christ. He takes the readers through many examples of sacred and secular attributes of what leadership looks like and provides examples of various styles. The quest to become a leader, or better leader, is a good one, yet Sanders does not want to give a false impression of the realities of spiritual leadership. The needs, responsibilities, cost and perils of leadership are plainly put forth to be straight forward with the reader of all that could and will be required of spiritual leadership positions. Believing that God is searching for leaders to bring about changes on the earth, he begins the book by highlighting the principle: true greatness, true leadership, is found in giving yourself in service to others, not in manipulating others to serve you, admonishing, “we must put more into life that we take out," and that history will only remember a man for "the quality of his deeds and the character of his mind and heart" (15).

Good News Preaching: Offering the Gospel in Every Sermon by Gennifer B. Brooks presents the challenge of presenting “good news” in every sermon. Brooks emphatically begins the book with the statement that the sermon is good news. This statement of sermonic good news brought to memory messages that I have heard that seemed to be void of good news on any level. I was as well mindful that since accepting God’s call to preach five years ago, I have often been reminded and encouraged to preach Jesus, to preach good news. Brooks’ easy to read and understand discussion of the importance of naming good news in the sermon is immensely helpful.
Akunna continues to talk about how the many gods they worship are helpers of Chukwu because he cannot do everything alone. after reading akunna's statement I related it to Christianity of today and to me,
Discuss the view that religious experiences must be true because there is a common core to all of them. (35) The view that religious experiences must be true because there is a common core to them postulates that religious experiences are veridical experiences of the divine having roots in the same objective creator. The theist claims the objective core of all religious experience is God. Note how succinct and clear this paragraph is – how it spells out the assumption in the question to show the examiner understanding of the topic. The classification of religious experiences by William James, Rudolf Otto and Richard Swinburne all support the view that religious experiences have a common core.
Theo 212 Midterm Take Home Exam Question 1: Models of Revelation (Part A) The model that Patricia’s understanding of God’s self communication most closely resembles is the Propositional model, in which a revelation occurs when teaching is formulated in a clear, conceptual form. In Patricia’s revelation, God communicates to her through the form of written words in the bible. Understanding and internalizing God’s command to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you!” was possible for Patricia because of her existing faith in Christ as an Evangelist. For Patricia, revelations through the delivery of religious teachings are salvific experiences. While Patricia’s faith was strong prior to her revelation, Oscar’s faith was a response to revelation.
