A Mission to a Religious Planet: Earth Earth a Religious Planet Introduction I am recently returning from a 12 month mission to Earth. I was sent by my superiors to determine if the inhabitants of Earth are religious or not. During my stay I have visited several countries and I have determined Earth is an overly religious Planet. Earthlings are very diversified and dedicated to their beliefs. Whichever God they worship they are very devoted, loyal and thankful. Ironically, all the Gods were addressed and “Him” and no “Hers” which I still question. However, I never saw him but was told he exist and once life is over each religion will see their God. Their daily lives include but are not limited to prayer, teachings, songs and readings of a Divine Book (sacred scripts) full of life instructions. Most of the religions have a dedicated day of worship depending on their beliefs. Earthlings strive for a higher approval taught to them from birth to adulthood that has been deemed as the “right way” to live and by doing so everlasting life is the reward. Earth a Religious Planet 1 The religions on Earth currently are divided into 21 major religions and included are individuals that don’t believe in a religion at all. I have decided to concentrate on the three most seemingly popular religions. My criteria to determine Earth as religious or non-religious will be collectively individuals believe in Christianity, Islam, and Hindu. Christianity is the largest with 2.1 billion individuals which include: Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, Pentecostal, Latter-day Saints, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Quakers, etc. Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ in c.30 AD,Isreal.
