It is a concept that helps a person determine what is “really real”. This could be said to be like an internal roadmap that a person uses to understand the world around them. The idea of a worldview has been around for a long time and many religions and faiths help to shape the worldview of our populations. And just among those subgroups there are many different worldviews. I personally find it fascinating because I think that is what makes the world interesting, we all have different views, and that is ok.
Values are what you want and need to achieve the goals you set for yourself and your family. Values can be obtained in many different ways. The most important piece for building values is your family. I am responsible as a mother for teaching my children what is right or wrong before, any other influence reaches them. I can only wish that what I have already instilled in my two children is a reflection of myself as a parent.

Religion offers guidance and seeks to answer many of humanity’s life enduring questions such as: What is the meaning of life? What is our purpose in life? Is there life after death? It is through religion for example Christianity, in which many people are able to gather a strong understanding of these questions and are able to live with a purpose and goal in life. The characteristics of religion; beliefs and believers, sacred texts, rituals and ceremonies and ethics all play an important role in shaping a religion to be both living and dynamic which assists adherents in seeking the answers to life enduring questions.
What a person believes can tell you a lot about the kind of person they are and the kind of person they will become in the future. The word belief has a very broad spectrum. When I am asked about my beliefs, the first thing that typically comes to mind is religion. This is a type of belief that everyone has. Whether you are a Christian, Buddhist, or atheist, you have some type of belief system.
Symbolism is an important part of religion and has been used by all religions on Earth. The term “symbolism” can be defined as the use of symbols and signs to convey key concepts, ideas, or events and the effect that they have on society and religion. These symbols and signs often take the form of acts, artwork, language, rituals, statues, texts, and other types of artistic representation. Symbols help reinforce religious ideals, strengthen each individual’s faith, and cultivate moral values in cultures around the world. Most people learn ethical norms at home, at school, in church, or in other social settings. Although most people acquire their sense of right and wrong during childhood, moral development occurs throughout life and human beings pass through different stages of growth as they mature” (Resnik, 2010, p. 1). People do not stop at a particular age while developing aspects of ethics; they continue learning ethics to build strong character as an adult. Character, action of a person when no one is watching him or her can be viewing as profitable as long as one has developing proper ethics. Proper ethics are determining once a person has embrace the true meaning of ethics.
