The infants have appropriate opportunities to climb, crawl, roll, and scoot safely on structures designed specifically for them. The classroom is rearranged frequently to provide new challenges and opportunities. The infant classroom provides a safe, comfortable, clean, attractive environment in which children can spend productive, enjoyable days with their friends and teachers. The placement of the furniture, (cribs, rocking chairs, high chairs, cabinets, low shelving, tables, etc. ), are clear from classroom walkways.
Luckily, we visited Paw Paw quite often. We often overheard his little squabbles. “No way, José!” Paw Paw would yell; in response, we would shout back, “Yes way, José!” and burst into giggles. My younger siblings and cousins would tell Paw Paw about school, or ballet, or baseball, or their pet iguana, and just when they got into the story, he’d roar, “No kiddin’!” with a huge smile on his face. Paw Paw helped us remember that life should be fun.
He was always faster than the other kids and would hurtle over anything in his way. So they knew he would have his father's speed. As he grew normally and was not big,but was a little small they believed he had not gotten his mother's power's. It was in his 7th year of greek school. There were many sports to participate in and he was good at all of them.
This includes interacting both inside and outside with their peer and their teachers. Activities are planned that engage preschool children in games that involve running, walking, chase, tag, and follow the leader in which children need to be socially apt. The preschool children also have toys for catching and throwing such as soft, large balls, beanbags, and other objects both in and out of the classroom. Ensuring preschoolers are empowered through many self selected activities
He was rhyming, throwing out couplet after couplet like he was in a trance, for a crazy long timethirty minutes straight off the top of his head, never losing the beat, riding the handclaps. He rhymed about nothingthe sidewalk, the benchesor hed go in on the kids who were standing around listening to him, call out someones leaning sneakers or dirty Lee jeans. And then hed go in on how clean he was, how nice he was with the ball, how all our girls loved him. Then hed just start rhyming about the rhymes themselves, how good they were, how much better they were than yours, how he was the best that ever did it, in all five boroughs and beyond. He never stopped moving, not dancing, just rotating in the center of the circle, looking for his next target.
I notice how he is able to express his emotions by gesturing and he is able initiate interaction with other children. But I also noticed that Manuel’s Language development is very poor. He didn’t speak much, and every time the teacher would talk to him he would stay quiet. As he was playing with toys and interacting with the other children he would scream and make baby sounds such as car sounds rmmm, beep beep, gurgles, oohs, and aahs. He also laughed very loud.
Dylan is a bit smaller than other children his age. He just turned three in March this year, and is probably a couple inches shorter than average for his age. His weight is slightly less than average as well, but because of his height, it is not noticeable. He has brown hair and brown eyes. During his first week of preschool, Dylan would come to school with large, red bags under his eyes, but over the course of the month, that has gone away.
They may still need a dummy, blanket or other comforter when tired or away from home. They can have very stereotyped ideas of what 'boys' and 'girls' are like, girls wear pretty dresses and boys are like Superman. They start taking responsibility for their own toileting. They may show a sense of humor, both in his talk and activities and like to be independent and sometimes with other children. There moods change rapidly.
Some of them were standing while others were sitting on benches and watching children play. Kids need to get outside and run around so they can get the physical activity needed to be healthy. Playground is designed for children to interact with each other and to improve their health and fitness level. Playing during recess keeps children healthy and active. However, some children don’t get enough exercise because they watch a lot of TV and it’s hard for full time employed parents to focus on their children’s physical activities.
