Michael Blandon Mr. Radetich English 11- C 21 October 2013 The Man Who I Miss The Most His hands healed hundreds over five decades, where was his cure? He knew what to do but the words would not come to him. So many years he lay in that bed, It came as no surprise but was still a crushing blow. He is gone and all we have is the stories. Though I was young I still remember what he was like. All that is left are the memories of his selfless acts. Though he is gone remember and use his example to guide. He helped everyone with no rejections, no matter what, status, color, or orientation They paid him what they could, a little money, a grateful handshake, or a carton of eggs He taught us to share what we have not just things, but love, and help He would not turn down someone in need, and treated them all the same The greatest thing about him was his patience, he never got mad at anyone He was the true healer and helper of Jinotega The streets and church were overflowing with all those that he touched. His city will miss him, my family will miss him, I will miss him. He left for a better place but all those who came to pay their respects Show he is still here, in our hearts, and in our thoughts. Our pain is still real because we are not made for such loss. Our comfort comes from the promise of life eternal. Now he watches and waits for us until we are together
