For the people who don’t interact with people well, college will give you the opportunity to enhance your communication skills for the real world. Now there are also people who decide not to go to college mainly because they can’t afford to go. With the economy today, it is extremely difficult to find a job and earn decent money without a college degree. Even though there are people out there who would like to go to college, it really makes things difficult without having some sort of job to cover your expenses. In addition to the 2 weeks of training the employee will be paid for their in class training. Those 2 weeks in training will touch on team work exercises as well as sales techniques. To ensure that the employees that were selected get a full understanding of everything, there will be handouts as well as in class participation techniques to help out the employees on the new transisiton. Getting the employees involved in the learning will assure that their attention is focused on the skills they need to learn and or work upon. So most of the training will be hands on and will really get the employees thinking.
In addition of going to school, working class students also have to get a job to be able to help out their families. Working class students have always struggled to get by during their years in college but most of these students have families who support their dreams of coming out of poverty and become somebody with no pressures. However there are also students who lack family support and deal with these issues alone throughout college. Here you have to have some education and a good paying job and wear brand name clothes but there are some citizens who may look high class but they just dress well to make other people assume that they are. A lot of native people have to get time off their jobs do to traditional ceremonies and they end up putting it behind them because they need the money. Today education is important to getting a good paying job which puts a lot of pressure on the youth. Many are afraid that their culture and traditions will soon die out. The parents today tell their children to do well in school and bring that education back to help out their people.
The demand for students who barely receive their diploma or even a bachelor’s degree is slowing decreasing. Many companies are looking for those students that excel and are able to constantly work. With that said, foreigners are filling jobs in America due to their education system, which is why I believe that America should transform their education to become year-round. From there on, students will be able to fully benefit from the education system as well as compete in the job
Since year round schooling has one group of students that are on vacation for a week while the rest of school is in secession, it allows for class room space to be used more and a single teacher would Evers # be able to teach more students because of the way that year round schooling is set up. If a school is looked at like a business, the most expensive asset a school can have is the employees. By costing anywhere from $30,000- $150,000 a year, it is important for a business man or a superintendent to realize that if budget cuts are needed that employees should be one of the first places to look. Just like now, school is my life since I started kindergarten. I will probably working everyday during the week with average to long hours just to earn a living for my family. I would want to pursue what I like and what I am good at in college. This will lead me to a job in that field. However, I will mostly be working for money rather than fun in life.
According to the U.S Census Bureau, college graduates that earn an advance degree (higher than a bachelor’s degree) will earn more than a million dollars more than a high school graduate that didn’t go to college over the course of 40 years. This means that a college graduate is able to go on trips, and have a nice car because their job pays more which means that they have a little extra money that they can spend on fun things/activities. For example, Grace Nicholson a close family friend struggled with not making enough money because she hadn’t graduated from college. She and her family were on foods stamps. They needed help paying their bills and they didn’t even have health insurance.
When I decided to go back to school, knew that college would help me refresh my brain in certain areas that I may need improvement on. I also returned to school because I want a job that will fit with me. Since I have been out of high school, I have had quite a few jobs. The jobs that were employed at, I knew that those jobs were what I did not want to have a career out of for the rest of my life. So, after all the different jobs I had back to back and me not being satisfied with either one.
Community College Many students struggle to choose between attending a community college and a university upon completion of a high school. Now a day’s a large number of high school graduates attend community college for a variety of reasons. In fact students search for the college which is best for their career goal and improves quality of life. Community colleges are the fastest growing institutions for high school graduates. Students choose to got community college because they benefit from the reduced tuition, they have the ability to transfer to a university, and they obtain a training provide for a future career.
