At first I was very nervous about finding information online and the online collaboration, but being a part of this unit was extremely empowering and it has taught me to be more understanding of each individual situation when working collaboratively. I will take all of this information on board and no doubt use it in my future
How is it beneficial to today’s way in life? Do these networks entitle privacy? Why/Why not? Is social networking safe? With much With much deliberation, this topic has become a very interesting argument. What people must understand is that social networking should not just be seen as an enemy but should be more focused on how it can also be a person’s best friend as well with communication/interaction. It is given in Clive Thompson’s, “I’m So Totally, Digitally, Close to You,” that “people are so often changed by the use of technology”(Thompson-p.168-177).
They can quickly fall behind from peers of the same age. They may find it difficult to interact and make friends with others who are more advanced. They may struggle with intellectual development memory and concentration. Delayed speech development A child who has limited or no speech could be a cause great concern. This would affect a child’s social and communication development as he/she would find it difficult to listen and speak to peers staff and carers this could also affect their behaviour possibly becoming frustrated and quite angry Whatever concern you have about a Childs development in any area, you should always share it with others.

The families and friends of individuals who are discriminated against can be affected in many ways. Some may be emotionally hurt and have their own feelings of self-worth challenged, if the discrimination has been violent they may feel scared. Some may react violently in return and grow their own prejudice’s towards people they view as being like the original attacker. 3. Inclusion means a process of identifying, understanding and breaking down barriers to participation and belonging.
2.2 Any form of prejudice and discrimination can have a severe negative effect throughout a person’s life. Being undervalued by peers can make a person feel isolated and lonely. A child’s confidence and self esteem will become less and less the more they are discriminated against. They will start not wanting to be involved in activities, stop putting their hand up to ask questions. This in turn will affect their learning and ability to interact.
There are lots of reasons, for example a child or young person may have suffered abuse from their parents. This will have an effect on the child or young person and could then make it very difficult for them to have positive relationships with anyone else as they could feel that they are unable to trust anyone. Children and young people will have different relationships with friends. These too may be positive or negative. Children and young people will be encouraged to form positive relationships with their friends.
These effects can also be felt by the individuals’ families and friends too. They can be subject to discrimination for having a disabled friend or family member. The effects on the person discriminating can be that they themselves are isolated by the wider society that don’t agree with their actions. This could also work the other way with the wider community agreeing with their discrimination. Either way discrimination has an effect on everyone.

He loses his self-esteem and independence. The banks do not love the land like farmers do, so their treatment and appreciation of the land is very different.
