To remedy the decreasing number of elephants, The Huduma Foundation, an animal rights activist group of the country volunteer to relocate elephants from Zakinaka an overpopulated location to Ungoba. During the simulation I act as the project manager for the animal rights activist group and I will recap the benefits, restrictions, and bottleneck or unforeseen problems and the changes that occur to time and risk. According to, author Kerzner,” project management is the art of creating the illusion that any outcome is result of series of predetermined, deliberate acts when, in fact it was dumb luck”. Early in the simulation I realize a key guide to planning is the Work Structure Breakdown Structure (WBS.) A WBS is the project deliverables that organizes the team’s work into manageable sections. Although WBS attempt to address every team position, unforeseen situation arrives that must be properly manage. For example, transportation of eight elephants to an airport by a designated time, this presented a difficult challenge.
