Why we should have Universal Health Care Did you know that 45,000 Americans die each year because they can’t pay for medical help. Universal health care is the remedy to the problem we face. A universal health care system extends care to anyone regardless of social status or bank account. Secondly it will reduce overall medical costs. Thirdly there would be a greater demand for doctors creating more jobs.
Finally, the emotional toll that caring for increasingly frail family members is hard and most especially when financial issues (inability to take time off from a job, or no insurance) increase the level of stress. For these individuals, Medicare permits hospices to offer "respite" to the families, during which, for a finite number of days per 3 month period, the hospice patient returns to the in-patient setting to give the family a chance to catch their breath and catch up on daily life, or take a vacation. 4. I hope that we will improve our ability to care for patient and family under the new health care bill passed two years ago and finally being implemented by the states. We must work hard to ensure that Florida sets a standard that we can be proud of - Florida has a lot of work to do in this area.

They also have to reach out to the families of the patients because they have to know the importance of the rehabilitation efforts and how demanding being part of a community life is necessary for independence. This all means that it is very crucial that both the patient and their support group understands the discipline it takes to either get better of an acute problem, or continue good health habits to maintain their health with whatever disability they may or may not have. Everybody knows that in the United States it is considered a home to millions of people from the Hispanic or Latino culture, about 11.9 percent. It is also known that most of them do not speak our English language or understand/speak very little. So how can we teach them good learning techniques so they can turn around and understand what they need to do to get better?
