She has overcome numerous obstacles and hardships in her life to become one of the most successful, respected and trusted women in recent history. When Oprah made the statement that “Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity”, I believe she is speaking from a place of experience and observation, and I believe her words to be absolute truth. In my adult life I have decided to further my education and prepare myself to be a better nurse as well as a better role model to my children. While completing nursing school I made the difficult choice to continue full time employment in the medical field while raising three small children. While my road to RN was a challenging one, when I completed my goal I was able to instantly transfer into the position of telemetry nurse at the local hospital.
She has been through so many obstacles in her lifetime and one way or another she has overcome them all. I want to be just like her; strong-willed, passionate about life, tries to see the good in everything even though it looks bad, and beautiful. The second set of people means the world to me: My wonderful Husband, my handsome son, and my beautiful daughter. They are the reason why I enjoy waking up each morning. You see, I am a stay at mom and wife and I enjoy every minute of it.
Aside from all of the challenges she had to overcome growing up, Jennifer still thrives to prevail many more challenges coming her way. She has built, carved, molded, and polished her life into an ideal goal for many people. Today, at the age of 28, Jennifer is currently married and living in the state Washington .
My family has been the most important part of my life as long as I can remember. I have two younger sisters one who is twelve, and one who is sixteen. Being the oldest comes with a lot of responsibility. One of those responsibilities is making sure that my sisters our safe and happy in all that they do. I learned to understand the stressors which cause my Cystic Fibrosis to flare up. It’s not long after that I begin to have many good days; they turned into months of remission. I begin to blossom letting nothing stand in my way; living the life that many would envy. I mature into a strong confident young mother determined to instill within her children let nothing stand in your way. Looking back upon the day when my life truly changed forever I wouldn’t change a thing; I see the world differently than others.
She developed such a strong personality that she was able to climb the rungs of broadcasting very quickly, even though very few African American women up to that time had become a major factor in the media. The woman is great at building a harmonious and synergistic atmosphere. Oprah has a positive survivor attitude that has allowed her to build herself up from many of her traumatic experiences instead of letting them break herself down. Oprah Winfrey acknowledged her grandmother's influence, saying it was Hattie Mae who had encouraged her to speak in public and "gave me a positive sense of myself". Her goal in life is to live out the truest expression of herself as a human being.

She accepted all opportunities that were presented to her because she felt that she could learn something and each opportunity would be a platform for future endeavors. She feels that teamwork, interaction, and staff development is one of the achievements of which she is proudest.
Ever since the day I was born, my grandmother has been like a second mother to me. Giving a hand in raising me, she treated me like I was her own. I’ve pretty much lived with her my whole life and she has been there for me my whole life. She is one of the most important people in my life, I look up to her and look to her for guidance when I need it the most because I know she cares and she would give me the best advice. She is the most caring and giving woman you could ever meet.
